His unique background includes: 2025 AANC Team Auction Champion, third-generation farmer, second-generation auctioneer, former District Attorney with extensive public speaking experience, and creator of innovative fundraising methods that maximize donor participation. Michael Parker is the founder of Parker Benefit Auctions and a recognized leader in benefit auction fundraising and event strategy. Raised on a rural North Carolina farm, Michael developed a strong work ethic and commitment to community that continues to shape his approach to service.
A graduate of North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina School of Law, Michael spent his legal career as a homicide prosecutor, advocating for victims and their families. He continues to consult on unsolved death investigations, bringing the same passion for advocacy into his work as a Fundraising Ambassador.
Michael is known for helping nonprofits transform traditional events into high-performing fundraising systems that increase revenue and strengthen donor relationships. His leadership in the auction industry has been widely recognized—he was inducted into the North Carolina Auctioneers Hall of Fame in 2024, served as President of the Auctioneers Association of North Carolina in 2025, and was part of the 2025 Auction Team Competition Championship team.

Carol Parker leads the Benefit Auction Management (BAM) Division, specializing in guest services, event flow, and operational excellence.
With over 30 years of experience in auction and event management, Carol ensures that every event runs smoothly from check-in to checkout. Her background in higher education, institutional advancement, and nonprofit support provides a strong foundation for delivering structured, efficient, and professional events.
Carol is known for bringing clarity and calm to complex environments—eliminating chaos, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall guest experience. Her work ensures that every detail supports donor engagement and contributes to stronger fundraising results.

Matthew Parker brings energy, innovation, and a forward-thinking perspective to the Parker team.
Raised on a family farm in Carthage, North Carolina, Matthew graduated first in his class from North Carolina State University with a degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering. He went on to graduate as valedictorian of Campbell University School of Law in 2021 and served on the Campbell Law Review.
Matthew is also an inventor, holding a provisional patent for the “Pine Bine,” a machine that could improve agricultural efficiency and support environmental conservation across the southeastern United States.
With a passion for agriculture, law, business, and public policy, Matthew serves as a dynamic and engaging voice for organizations seeking to connect with their audiences and communicate their mission effectively.
