Michael is the founder of Parker Benefit Auctions and grew up on a rural NC farm.  Michael joined his local rescue squad at 13 years old.  He is a three time State Junior First Aid Champion and a four time Heavy Rescue Champion.  Michael has a BS degree in Biology from NC State University and a JD degree form UNC Chapel Hill School of Law.  Michael is a retired homicide prosecutor and still consults with Laura Pettler and Associates on unsolved death investigations.  Michael is passionate about medical issues, fatherhood, responsibility, law enforcement, family values, educational issues, children, military service, rural life, history, preservation, conservation, crime victims, punishment and legal issues. Carol Parker, BAS

Carol grew up in Greensboro, NC, and got her BS Degree in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill. She has a Master's Degree in Public Affairs and did doctoral work in Adult Community College Education with an emphasis in Institutional Advancement at NC State University. Carol has worked in higher and homeschool education, managed a family farm, been a caregiver to family in need, and consulted on and managed fundraising events and checkout services for a decade. With over thirty years of auction management experience and as the senior consultant for the Benefit Auction Management (BAM) Division of Parker Benefit Auctions, Carol knows the secrets to making a heart-warming mission request, to making your event flow smoothly from check-in to check-out, and everything in between, and to being an effective and empathetic fundraising ambassador for your nonprofit. Matthew Parker, BAS, CAS

Matthew  grew up on a family farm in Carthage, NC and graduated first in his class from NC State University with a BS degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering.  Matthew holds a provisional patent on the "Pine Bine," a machine  that automatically removes sticks and pine cones from pine straw and which has the potential to revitalize the longleaf pine ecosystem in the southeastern United States.  Matthew is currently ranked first in his class at Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina and writes on the Campbell Law Review.  Matthew is passionate about agriculture, environmental issues, government, law, constitutional issues, business, entrepreneurial issues, and education.  If you need an energetic voice for your organization, Matthew is the right choice.
